Cabaret
The setting is the Kit Kat Klub, a night club, in Berlin at the start of the 1930s. The Master of Ceremonies welcomes the audience to the show and assures them that, whatever their troubles, they will forget them at the Cabaret. It revolves around 19-year-old English cabaret performer Sally Bowles and her relationship with the young writer from American, Cliff Bradshaw. We also meet German boarding house owner Fraulein Schneider and her suitor Herr Schultz, a Jewish fruit vendor. Musical numbers include
